MISSOULA - A U.S. District Court judge sentenced Kimberly Ann Force, 44, of Livingston to seven years in prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Force pled guilty to the federal crime earlier this year. She was also sentence to four years of probation.

The U.S. Attorney's office said Force was part of a meth distribution conspiracy in and around Bozeman. The Missouri River Drug Task Force has been investigating the drug ring since 2010.

According to a press release, evidence shows Force was a mid-level distributor of meth. Between January and April 2011, she routinely traveled to Butte to pick up the drug and brought it back to the Bozeman area for sale and distribution. Force admitted her involvement in the meth drug ring to authorities.
