One of the men accused for the death of a Butte man pled not guilty this morning in a District Court arraignment hearing this morning.
Jeffery Bruce Lackman, age 24, appeared in front of Judge Brad Newman in Second Judicial District Court. Lackman is charged with deliberate homicide, a felony. Court documents say Lackman purposely and knowingly caused the death of 46-year-old Mark Partelow.
Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement officials say Partelow died shortly after suffering a single gunshot wound to the head.
Lackman could face life imprisonment or the death penalty. His bond is set at $500,000.
