Man admits to Evergreen kidnapping

KALISPELL - A man who was arrested one year ago to the day for kidnapping a 12-year-old Evergreen girl, pleaded guilty to the charges in Missoula Federal Court on Thursday.

Edgard Enrique Le of California Le had met the girl on the Internet and devised a plan to drive from California to Kalispell to take her away, and that's what he did.

The 12-year-old girl got into a car with Le and another man, Dennis Nelson, and the men drove her to California before the California Highway Patrol apprehended the men and returned the girl safely to her parents in Evergreen.

Le and Nelson were both brought back to Kalispell where they were charged with custodial interference. Court documents released by the U.S. Justice Department state that Le had intended to have a physical romantic relationship with the girl.
