A 27-year-old Great Falls woman is stable condition in the ICU after a one-vehicle crash on Sunday morning, and a man is facing charges for the incident.
Great Falls police said the crash happened just after 5 a.m. when a Chevy Silverado went over the guardrail near the I-15 Northbound on-ramp.
The driver, later identified as 37-year old Juan Arroyo, ran away from the scene.
When officers arrived they found a woman unconscious at the scene.
GFPD told us the woman was taken to Benefis hospital, where she is in the Intensive Care Unit, and said to be in stable condition.
Officers were able to track down Arroyo, who is facing several misdemeanor charges, including driving without a valid license, 1st offense DUI, driving without insurance, careless driving, failure to remain on the scene, and not wearing a seatbelt.
