KALISPELL - Kalispell police responded to a report of a person tied to a telephone pole outside of a tattoo parlor recently.

Officers received the phone call just before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a young man Saran-wrapped to a telephone pole outside of the Unique Addiction Tattoo shop in Kalispell.

The man was wrapped to the pole about several feet off the ground.

Upon investigation, employees at the tattoo shop admitted they put the person there to be funny and bet him $20 to stay there for two hours.

Unique Addiction owner Jason Otten said, "We bet him $20 he couldn't sit up there for two hours, we got him up on the pole, put some stickers on him, and about 20, 30 minutes later a cop came by and cut him down and said it was distracting cars driving by."

No charges will be filed.
