MISSOULA - Police in Missoula are looking for a woman who reportedly assaulted a man on Sunday evening.
Missoula Police Lieutenant Richard Stepper said the call came in just after 5 p.m., that a man had suffered an assault with a weapon near the 2100 block of West Central Avenue.
Police say they can't release many details at this time, but friends of the victim say he is 53 years old. The victim was taken to Community Medical Center by a friend, suffering from with blunt force trauma to the head.
Stepper says they are looking for the woman and will put in a request on Monday for her arrest.
The suspect's sister tells us the entire situation makes her sad and disappointed.
"I'm pretty shook up and disappointed in my sister. It's just sad to see that happen - so I'm disappointed and hurt," the woman said.
