CUT BANK - Several people were injured on Wednesday when the pickup truck they were in flipped between Cut Bank and Valier.
One of the victims was airlifted to Benefis hospital in Great Falls and remains in critical condition as of late Friday morning.
The crash happened sometime around 11 p.m. on Wednesday near mile marker 20 of Highway 358.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports the pickup truck was headed south on Highway 358 south of Cut Bank with a male driver and a female passenger in the cab; and three males sitting on a couch in the bed of the pickup.
The driver lost control while driving south in the northbound lane; the MHP does not yet know how the driver lost control.
The driver over-corrected and the truck rolled several times, throwing the couch and all three males sitting on it out of the truck bed, and ejecting the female passenger out of the cab's rear window.
Initial reports indicate that neither speed nor alcohol were involved. Authorities have not released the names of any of the people involved and an investigation is still underway.
