HELENA - Helena police have arrested and charged two juveniles for "milk smashing" in a grocery store.
The report came in at around 11 p.m. Friday from Albertson's on North Montana Avenue.
The idea came from Youtube where videos are uploaded, showing kids throwing and smashing gallon jugs of milk inside the store and then pretending to fall in the spilled milk.
Despite previous warnings from their parents, the kids in the Helena store took off but were caught on Monday.
"In this example, the parents in these young men's lives had seen the video. They had spoken with their children about how that was not appropriate and still we had the individuals make the choices they did, which were inappropriate," said Captain Corey Livesay of the Helena Police Department.
According to police, the two boys were charged with criminal mischief.
They'll be referred to youth authorities for their accountability in the matter.
