Missing Belgrade girls found safe

BELGRADE - Local police say two young girls reported missing on Saturday afternoon were located safe and unharmed a few hours later.

After the 9 year old girls went missing for several hours on October 13, an emergency notification system call was placed to all residents of Belgrade and the surrounding areas. The Belgrade Police department said the children were found safe and unharmed later that same evening.

Local authorities were assisted in the search by members from the Gallatin County Search and Resuce, the Central Valley Fire department and agents from the FBI's Bozeman office.
