MISSOULA - A Missoula man is facing felony charges for allegedly raping a 6-year-old girl.
Danny Wayne Johnston, 57, is charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
Prosecutors say in September, Johnston allegedly raped her on two separate occasions while the child was staying with relatives.
Her mother noticed a change in the child's behavior when the girl came home, and reported the rape after her daughter told her what happened.
Investigators say Johnston told them the child initiated all the sexual contact.
Prosecutors say after doing an interview with detectives about the alleged rape, Johnston stopped checking in with his probation officer.
He was booked into jail on Wednesday after being arrested on a warrant.
