MISSOULA - A Coroner's Inquest has cleared a Missoula man in connection with an August death on Turner Street.
Justin Nelson of Missoula was not charged in Missoula District Court on Friday in connection with the Aug. 19 death of Chad Goodman.
The jury took 37 minutes to come up with their decision not to press charges in the case.
Nelson said in court that the handgun accidentally went off, adding that he never pulled the trigger.
Nelson said that the two men had been looking at the gun, and after Goodman was holding it, he passed it to Justin - and that's when the handgun fired.
