EMERY COUNTY, Utah - A concerned father in Missoula, armed with a GPS, helped save his son who was stranded on a frozen river in Utah.

Ross Miller was tracking his son, Blake, who was rafting down the Green River. Blake checked in every morning and night on the GPS.

But when he had checked in from the same location for more than a week, his father got worried something was wrong. He called the Emery County sheriff's office, and rescue teams found Blake stranded on the frozen river, stuck and surviving off his supplies.

Blake was rescued via helicopter.
