BILLINGS - It's been a year of mixed headlines for the historic downtown Billings hotel, but it appears the Dude Rancher Lodge will come out on top.
Last year's "Hotel Impossible" renovations have proven successful for the locally owned business, even though a fatal police-involved shooting damaged the hotel lobby after the improvements.
This year, the Travel Channel's "Hotel Impossible" re-visited Dude Rancher to check on progress.
"Things have been amazing. Our revenues are outstanding. So much better then the year before," says Nancy Hillman, Director of Sales and Marketing at the hotel.
Hillman also said that 12 more rooms have been remodeled and new carpet has been installed throughout the entire building.
The follow-up Dude Rancher program is now airing on the Travel Channel.
