Montana residents escape early morning house fire

BILLINGS - Shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Lockwood Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 1522 Dickie Road in Lockwood.

According to Lockwood Fire Chief Bill Rash, the mobile home was 70 percent engulfed when crews arrived on scene.

The mobile home was occupied by two residents. They were treated on scene for smoke inhalation.

The fire started near a wood burning stove. The home is not insured.

The investigation is ongoing.
