Less fortunate residents in Butte and the surrounding area received a tub full of food items for Christmas dinner.
Montana Resources has been putting together these tubs full of holiday food items since 1988.
This year about 450 tubs were filled with food.
A list is made of people in need of the food items.
Then the tubs are either dropped off at their residence or they are picked up at the Butte Civic Center.
The Transportation Supervisor says this year the demand was the high.
"It seems like the need is out there a lot more this year. I don't know why but the need is out there because we've never had so many," says Montana Resources Transportation Supervisor Jacque Dinsmore.
Last year Montana Resources handed out 425 tubs of food.
