A non-profit organization needs help sending Christmas packages to deployed Montana soldiers and airmen.

Montana Supporting Soldiers has already sent more than 500 care packages to troops overseas, but it is still in need of donations.

The care packages include everything including personal toiletries, non-perishable food items, hand warmers, thermal underwear, blankets and socks.

Montana Supporting Soldiers President Liann Meyer says, "It's just so hard for them to be over there especially this time of year. We have names of soldiers, and know of some that aren't going to be receiving a package, unless we send it to them."

Meyer says they could also use monetary donations because it is so expensive to ship items to the soldiers. She says they are also sending over Christmas decorations to help bring some holiday spirit. You can learn more here: http://www.mtsupportingsoldiers.com/Home_Page.html
