Even though Montana Tech was off last weekend, they moved up in the polls after a couple of top 10 teams took losses this past weekend. The Orediggers saw the most movement of any team in the Top 25 and are ranked No. 8 in this week's NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Tech falls in just behind No. 7 Carroll College who moved up one spot. The Saints fell to Montana Tech 37-20 earlier in the season. Southern Oregon made their way on to the Top 25 at No. 23.
The last time Montana Tech was in the top 10 of the poll was September 28, 2006 when the team was ranked No. 7. Tech started the 2006 season at No. 10, but finished at No. 23.
The Orediggers have won their last five straight games while climbing the Top 25 Poll.
The Orediggers are on the road this weekend in LaGrande, Oregon for a rematch of their only loss of the season with the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers. They return home the following weekend to host
Montana State Northern.
