Montana State's volleyball team came out with a vengeance against Montana on Monday night, taking the first two games, 25-16 and 25-17. With Junior Outside Hitter, Sarah Horton registering an amazing 38 kills, it looked like the Bobcats would win the match easily.
But Montana had different plans. Behind the outstanding net play of Brooke Bray and Kelsey Schile, the Grizzlies won the next two games, 25-20 and 26-24.
In the fifth and final set, it was all Montana. They jumped out to an eight point lead and Montana State never came closer than four, with Montana winning the deciding set, 15-9 and taking the match, three games to two.
