WELLTON, AZ - A Plains woman is facing a first-degree murder charge in Arizona for allegedly shooting her husband.
The Yuma Sun reports that authorities say Gail Eldridge, 58, shot Scott Eldridge once in the chest with a .38-caliber revolver during a domestic dispute on Feb. 19.
Gail Eldridge is being held on a $1 million bond on three felony charges, including attempted first-degree murder per domestic violence and two counts of aggravated assault per domestic violence.
Scott Eldridge, 49, is expected to survive.
The Clark Fork Valley Press reports that the Eldridges winter in Wellton, Arizona.
