If Montana State still feels the sting of the overtime loss they suffered in Missoula over the weekend, they certainly didn't show any signs of it. The Bobcats beat the Southern Utah Thunderbirds 76 to 68 Monday night with a terrific performance out of Senior guard Christian Moon. Moon led all scorers with 24 points shooting 9 of 13 from the field, including 2 of 4 from outside the arc.
The win also helps the Bobcats separate themselves from Southern Utah as they move a game in front of the Thunderbirds in the Big Sky Standings. MSU, now 4-4 in conference play, handed the T-birds their 5th consecutive loss.
Other notable performances include two other Bobcats with double digits in scoring. Xavier Blount finished with 13 and Paul Egwuonwu contributed with 10.
Montana State is back at home against conference leading Weber State on Thursday.
