BOZEMAN - Montana State University's Madrigal Dinner is back this holiday season.

The MSU School of Music's 47th annual production transports contemporary guests to a Renaissance feast. Members of the MSU choral groups become knaves and wenches who perform the traditional carols sung for centuries during the 12 days of Christmas.

Paul Birkeland, director of MSU Catering, and his crew will prepare a menu featuring a pork loin dinner or a vegetarian option with all the fixings. The dinner ends with traditional English pudding.

Tickets for the MSU performances are $35 and may be purchased beginning Nov. 1 at the Bobcat Ticket Office in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The ticket office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking for ticket buyers is provided in the lot directly below the ticket office. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone (994-CATS) or online at ticketswest.com (search "madrigal dinner"). A convenience fee is required for purchase made online or over the phone.

The dinner will also be held Friday, Nov. 30, at the Gallatin Gateway Inn and Monday, Dec. 3, at Bucks T-4 in Big Sky. Tickets for the Nov. 30 performance may be purchased by calling the Gallatin Gateway Inn, 763-4672. Tickets for the Big Sky performance are available from the Big Sky Association for the Arts, 995-2742.
