BOZEMAN - Montana State University students worked up a sweat on Saturday morning for a fun annual tradition.
About 60 students and volunteers touched up the M in Bozeman on Saturday with 100 gallons of white paint.
MSU faculty and staff also helped brighten the M, which they do every year on the Saturday before homecoming.
Painting the M has become a freshman tradition, but they aren't the only one's allowed to help out.
One sophomore, Kyle Schuster says it's a good way for students to help out.
"I mean the M is just a pretty big part of MSU so it's just a great way to keep MSU fresh, keep the M fresh, and just make our school better," Schuster said.
