"People tend to have the miscommunication or misperception that it's just a prescription drug, its safe, its prescribed, its manufactured, it's better than someone making methamphetamine but really truly it's the prescription drugs mixed together or mixed with alcohol that are causing the majority of deaths in drug cases in our state." said Dean Chrestenson, Missoula Police Department Prescription Drug Diversion.
Saturday is sixth annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back, where people can dispose unused prescription drugs.
