HELENA - Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton set out into the Bob Marhsall Wilderness on a search earlier this week for new evidence regarding the disappearance and death of Noah Pippin.
Undersheriff Dave Rau said that Dutton's search party located what appears to be additional evidence in the area related to the case.
They will continue searching and are scheduled to return to Helena on Friday, August 23rd, when more information is expected to be released.
Pippin's remains were discovered a year ago near the Chinese Wall after he was reported missing on his way from Michigan to California in September of 2010.
Before leaving, Sheriff Dutton said he was searching for key evidence which will aid the coroner in determining an official cause of death, which, Dutton said, is still in question.
