Just in time for the 2013 Montana Economic Development Summit, Senator Max Baucus announced a new app to boost momentum for the event.
The free "Montana Jobs Summit app"is available on Bizzabo.com. The app includes interactive maps of the Montana Tech Campus, real-time agenda updates, and new networking tools to allow Montana individuals and businesses to make lasting connections before, during and after the summit.
"Our jobs summits have a proven track record of turning handshakes into Montana jobs. The new Montana Jobs Summit app will help improve communication during the summit while building the connections needed to support jobs for the long haul," Baucus said.
The free app is hosted by Bizzabo and is available for both iOS and Android users.
Those who sign up for the app will have an sneak peak at the summit's agenda, speaker line up and the breakout sessions designed to give Montanans tools to create new jobs.
The app can also be used to plan meetings, find out who's attending and pinpoint connections. It also allows users to communicate directly with fellow attendees and add them to social networks.
The summit will be held September 16 and 17, keynote speakers this year will include Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt, Elon Musk of Tesla and SpaceX, Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg, former Presidential candidate and international businessman Jon Huntsman, Jr., Alan Mulally of Ford Motor Company, Oracle's Safra Catz, Boeing CEO Jim McNerney, founder of FedEx Fred Smith, Delta's Richard Anderson and Ryan Lance, CEO of ConocoPhillips.
