Jeanne M. (Rhoads) Johnson passed away September 26, 2013 at the family home in Bozeman, MT and is now safely in her loving Savior's arms.
She was born October 31, 1952 in Wolf Point, MT to Earl and Helen Rhoads. In 1965 the family moved to Bozeman. She graduated from Bozeman Senior High and attended Montana State University.
In 1973 she married Larry W. Johnson and they made the Gallatin Valley their home. She worked as a legal secretary until Larry's college graduation and they started a family.
Nothing on earth meant more to her than spending time with family, which led her to home school all her children.
She loved water skiing, traveling, movies, tending to her plants and flowers, attending church and reading her Bible.
Above all she loved the Lord. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church where she spent many years teaching Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother David and sister Janet Empie.
She is survived by her husband; son, Aaron (Carmen) of Richmond, VA; daughter, Ashley (Dave) Bergan of Lakeville, MN; son, Brandon of Portland, OR; and sons Matthew and Jonathan of Bozeman; six wonderful grandchildren: Kelsey, Hailey, Julie, Joshua, Graham and Caleb; sister, Nancy (David) Watling; and brother, Dick (Carla).
A memorial service will be held in Bozeman at the Evangelical Free Church, Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 11:00am.
