BOZEMAN - The One Class at a Time program is kicking off for a second year.

One Class at a Time is a partnership between KBZK and First Interstate Bank to help local classrooms purchase needed materials.

Our first recipient this year is Raelee Lilly's kindergarten class at Monforton Elementary. The class received $250 to purchase Lakeshore Interactive Software and Language Vocabulary.

"I teach language arts, so I'm going to purchase some language arts materials so all our kids can read better. There's lots of different areas of language, so I'm going to buy different pieces of the language. For example, phonemic awareness - there's a piece, there's a phonics piece, comprehension piece, fluency piece. So with the different pieces of the Lakeshore products I can hit different areas of reading," Raelee Lilly explained.
