KALISPELL - A Montana Highway Patrol trooper had to be taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center Thursday after his patrol car crashed near Marion.
Anastasia Burton with the Montana Attorney General's office says the trooper was driving his car near Marion when he began to feel light-headed.
He began to slow his vehicle down when he passed out behind the wheel. It's not clear yet just what the vehicle crashed into, but the trooper survived the accident and was listed in stable condition at KRMC.
The trooper's name has not yet been released, and it's not yet clear why he passed out.
