Several phases of our next winter storm is expected to create travel problems over the next couple of days.

With highs in the 40s today, you can expect to see light rain showers for the second half of the day in southwest Montana into the evening. Arctic air will slice through Montana this evening and early Thursday which could create slick roads.

Once the cold air is in place we are looking at 3-6 inches of snow in the Gallatin Valley and 3-5 inches near Butte.
