The weather is finally starting to seem more spring-like and that means plans for this year's Relay for Life are starting to take shape.
These volunteers spent Saturday afternoon urging people to get out their walking and running shoes to sign up for the relay. And, even those who can't run or walk can still support the effort to fight cancer by making a donation or just showing support with a sign or a luminaria in support of those who can get out and put in a few miles.
"It's a great time, it's a great time to remember cancer survivors, who have lost it and people that are fighting it, hopefully we can cure cancer," said volunteer Chawahn Gade.
