POLSON - A 26 year old Polson man was stabbed to death on Saturday at around 4 a.m. at a home in the 1600 block of 1st Street East in Polson.

Karen Sargeant with the Lake County Sheriff's Office says the man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Roughly an hour after the incident, a Polson officer located and arrested the suspect at a local motel.

The suspect is said to be a 32 year old man from Browning.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim or the suspect.

Sargeant says the motive is not known at this time, but did say that alcohol consumption was involved.
