BOZEMAN - Reach Inc. is holding its Have a Heart Art Auction on Saturday, Feb. 2 to benefit adults with developmental disabilities in the Bozeman area.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Emerson Cultural Center Ballroom.
The auction was inspired last year by a parent who donated a Harvey Rattey bronze sculpture and asked us how Reach could use it to help his son.
"We hope to exceed last year's profits and have made many improvements to the event, including hiring professional auctioneer Pat Busby. All artists are giving one hundred percent of the proceeds back to Reach Inc.," Dee Metrick of Reach Inc. writes in a news release.
Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be included in the ticket cost. Food will be provided by Bountiful Table. Wine is being provided by Winegardner Wines. Cardinal Distribution is providing beer. Music will be presented by Basement Jazz. There will be live and silent auctions with items that are valued at $30 all the way up to bronze sculptures valued at $6,500.
Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased at the Reach Inc. Work Center, Ascend Wellness or on-line at www.reachinc.org/events. They are also available at the door for $30 until they are sold out.
