ANACONDA - A missing Anaconda woman died of stab wounds, according to crime lab reports.
Tammy Salle's body was pulled from the Clark Fork River earlier this month. This week, the Montana State Crime Lab report confirmed that the body was Salle's.
Salle had been missing since late December.
Anaconda Police Chief Tim Barkell said today that the crime lab report says that Salle was stabbed.
The suspect in the death, Salle's boyfriend, committed suicide following Salle's disappearance.
This appears to be the final chapter to a story that affected the community of Anaconda, including Tammy's friends and family.
