While Senatorial candidates Jon Tester and Denny Rehberg had a lot to say Saturday night, it's not often area residents get a chance to voice their feelings on the Senate debate, and the opinions were as varied as the topics discussed.
Says area resident Clay Reed, "I thought that Tester was just like Obama and Biden - a little bit on the arrogant side. I don't think he proved his points well."
Beth Greger, another area resident, stated "Denny Rehberg, seems to me he's more of a career politician, and I don't like that."
We at KBZK posted a question on our Facebook page, asking viewers who they thought came out on top Saturday night, and we got responses from across the board.
Wrote viewer Gary McGowan, "Far and away Jon Tester, I felt I got a more clear description of the Affordable Care Act," and goes on further to say "I was disappointed to see Rehberg using scare Tactics from attack ads he's been running at every turn."
Further down, viewer Stacy Bragg wrote "After dealing with both of them, Rehberg is much easier to talk to and acts on your issue...Tester only caters to special interest people."
While opinions varied across the board as to who won, it will only become truly evident at the polls in November.
Tune in next Saturday at 9 PM for a prime time debate between gubernatorial candidates Rick Hill and Steve Bullock, as MTN will have live coverage during and live post-debate coverage after the debate.
