A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for all of our area, including Butte and Bozeman, starting tonight, running through Sunday evening, for accumulating snow across our area.
A look at the latest model runs indicate the possibility of 2 to 4 inches of the white stuff in the valleys, and 6 to 9 inches in the higher mountains. There is a remote possibility of some higher locations getting close to 12 inches before the storm is over.
Right now, however, as you look outside, it's a great day! Plenty of sunshine, and mild temperatures, as many areas have seen the mercury climb into the 40's once again this month. Don't let today's quiet day fool you, snow is on the way, creating tough travel conditions on Sunday.
In the wake of the storm Sunday, conditions quiet down, but it will also be cooler with a west-northwesterly flow keeping us near or below average with a few flurries here and there. Have a great Saturday night!
