DEER LODGE - Search and Rescue crews recovered the body of an elderly Deer Lodge woman who may have died from hypothermia.
Powell County Sheriff Howard says the woman was 88 years old and suffered from dementia. She was living with her two sons on Oregon Street.
The woman was reported missing around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Her body was recovered by Search and Rescue about five blocks away near 610 Peterson Avenue. She was found along a fence next to a driveway.
The Deer Lodge Police Department and Powell County Sheriff's Office also helped in the search.
