A vehicle rollover on Sunday morning killed one passenger and injured two others on North Frontage Road in Lockwood.
Several medical units, the Montana Highway Patrol, and Yellowstone County Sheriff responded to the accident shortly after 11 a.m.
The red car was eastbound on North Frontage Road when it drifted, careening into a ditch between the road and fence.
The vehicle continued along the fence. As it approached the intersection of Exxon Mobil Road and North Frontage Road, the vehicle vaulted from the hill, rolled, landed on its top, and caught fire.
Passerby helped put out the flames of the vehicle.
The Montana Highway Patrol does not believe anyone was buckled in the crash.
According to Sergeant Buck O'Neill of MHP, the male driver was partially ejected, and a young female child in the back seat was also taken to the hospital. Both of their conditions are unknown at this time.
The adult female passenger died on scene.
Alcohol and speed are not known to be factors at this time.
