It was a lucky landing for a small private plane at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
According to Operations Supervisor Brian Sprenger, a two seater aircraft,designed to land in grassy areas, experienced problems after take-off.
The pilot returned to land and crashed into an irrigation ditch on the North side of the airport around 9:30 a.m.
While the plane sustained heavy damage, no one was injured in the incident.
