Snow and wind increasing by Friday afternoon

Winter Weather Advisory issued from the NWS from Noon Friday to Noon Saturday.

Snow accumulations of 3"-6" is possible for the valleys and 6"-10" over the mountains.

SW Winds 15-25 mph will produce periods of blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibilities under a mile at times.

Areas of greatest concern will be along the MT/ID state line and include: West Yellowstone, Targhee pass, Raynolds pass, Monida pass, Chief Joseph pass and Big Hole pass.
