BOZEMAN - The "holiday spiders" are going up in downtown Bozeman today.
"Downtown Bozeman has been installing holiday decorations for 30 years. But the program would not be possible without countless hours of labor and services provided by the Bozeman community. The generous support that downtown receives annually is what truly brightens the holidays," Chris Naumann, Executive Director of the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, said in a news release.
The spiders, or bells as some remember them, are a holiday staple in downtown Bozeman each year.
The Bozeman Fire Department provides much of the labor to maintain and install the large lit draping decorations over the intersections. These decorations are installed at four Main Street intersections: Willson, Tracy, Black and Bozeman.
Several other organizations and city departments have a hand in installing the decorations.
