Ramsay Elementary School has confirmed 10 cases of head lice in students, according to the school's Principal Rosemary Garbey.
Typically the school only sees 1 to 2 cases a year, Garbey said. Tuesday evening Butte-Silver Bow Health Department held a meeting at the school cafeteria to answer parent's questions about head lice.
On Friday all students had their heads checked as a precaution. The students were educated about head lice prevention methods and told not to share hair combs and clothes. Classrooms and school buses have also been sanitized, according to Garbey.
