A good portion of our area is still under either a Winter Weather Advisory or a Winter Storm Warning for some left over snow showers into the overnight hours through early Monday morning. As the snow tapers off, and skies begin to clear tonight, temperatures will plummet into the teens and single digits for most of us, freezing any liquid surfaces, creating an icy commute for our Monday morning.
Cool temperatures will prevail across much of the region through most of the shortened work week, as high pressure from Canada slides into the region. By mid-week, there will also be a chance for some snow, with the majority of the moisture remaining to our south. There will still be some chances for some snow showers on Wednesday.
Another storm system will be sliding into the area late this week into next weekend. While details are still emerging, we could see some more snow showers, ending a cool and possibly snowy week. Have a great rest of the weekend!
