GREAT FALLS - Adam Sanchez of Billings, 42-years-old, was arrested in Great Falls on Friday and is facing several charges in connection with a reported robbery attempt and a high-speed chase in Great Falls.
Sanchez has been charged with attempted homicide, attempted robbery, attempting to elude a peace officer, reckless driving, three counts of criminal endangerment, and speeding.
Sanchez is in custody at the Cascade County Detention Center.
A press release from the Cascade County Sheriff's Office says that they are trying to locate a second suspect.
They say that there is no general threat to the community at this time resulting from this incident.

Cascade County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported attempted robbery at about 1 a.m. on Friday at 5405 Lower River Road, according to a press release from the Sheriff's office.
When deputies arrived, they saw a vehicle leaving the area, and it matched the description given by the caller.
A deputy tried to get the driver to stop by using his emergency lights and siren.
The driver failed to stop and a chase began that led officers along Lower River Road and to the south side of Great Falls, with assistance from the Great Falls Police Department.
A Sheriff's vehicle was involved in a crash at the intersection of 15th Street and 5th Avenue South with another vehicle that was not related to the case.
The Deputy and one of the three people in the other vehicle were evaluated at Benefis hospital; no serious injuries were reported.
The crash involving the Sheriff's vehicle is being investigated by the Montana Highway Patrol.
The suspect vehicle was later found and the case is being investigated.
There is no word yet on whether any suspects have been taken into custody.
