Diabetes is a disease that affects more than 25 million Americans- 1.9 million new cases discovered in 2010 alone.
This weekend, hundreds of bikers are hitting the pavement to help in the fight against diabetes.
The Tour de Cure Montana is a bike tour to raise money for the American Diabetes Association starting Saturday at Missouri Headwaters State Park in Three Forks. It runs 50 miles towards Church Hill and loops back.
With 567 riders on 55 teams, funds raised so far total more than $150,000 - which is just $20,000 below the goal.
Keep an eye out for the Red Riders - the riders who actually have diabetes.
They'll be passing through the Manhattan area just after 10 a.m.
