Three Butte males have confessed to a string of more than 20 vandalism incidents early Thursday morning on Oregon, Arizona and Utah Streets that include slashed tires and broken windows.

Authorities responded to the 1700 block of Oregon Avenue at 3:30a.m. Thursday morning to find two individuals inside a vehicle they had broken into parked on the street, according to the Butte-Silver Bow Police Department. One of the suspects fled. A 16-year-old juvenile who remained at the scene is facing a curfew violation and confessed to the vandalism spree.

The 16-year-old gave a statement about an 18-year-old male and another juvenile who were allegedly involved. Authorities have contacted these individuals and they have both confessed.

The juveniles have been turned over to Reintegrating Youthful Offenders (RYO) Correctional Facility and the adult male has been turned over to the detention center for processing.
