Trailer home lost in fire

A trailer home on the 2900 block of Elm Street was quickly engulfed in a fire on Monday.

The fire started just after 1p.m., according to the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department. A neighbor who saw the smoke alerted authorities. Officials say the fire started in the front of the trailer. It took fire fighters 10 minutes to contain the blaze.

The trailer is being leased. The land lord has been contacted. Authorities are still trying to contact the occupants.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
