GREAT FALLS - A Virginia accused of throwing pipe bombs from his vehicle at Montana peace officers while leading them on a chase in November, was back in court on Thursday.
The state was granted a continuance for Laurence Stewart's trial after proving they need more time to find an expert for the case.
Stewart faces three counts of attempted deliberate homicide in Montana, and has outstanding warrants for up to 13 charges in Virginia, including attempted capital murder on law enforcement.
The trial is set to begin on April 29.
