With high temperatures in the 70's and an abundance of moisture we will likely see some afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the next few days. A few of these storms could be strong enough to produce damaging wind and moderate hail in parts of the region. The most likely timing for the stronger storms is likely to be between 2 PM and 7 PM. While the majority of these storms will be the garden variety thunderstorm, pockets of isolated storms could produce 1 inch hail and winds in excess of 60 mph wind during the prime heating hours.
