BILLINGS - A motorcycle-car collision sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday evening.
Billings Police Department responded to the crash on Interstate 90 and the King Avenue West westbound off ramp shortly before 6 p.m.
According to BPD, the motorcycle driver, a 51-year-old male resident of Laurel, rear-ended the Pontiac Grand Am that was stopped behind traffic. After the initial impact, the Harley went off the right shoulder of the road and came to rest on an embankment.
The male and his 54-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries and emergency crews transported both to Billings Clinic.
The driver of the Pontiac reported minor injury while the female passenger of the car did not receive an injury from the crash.
According to the press release from BPD, it is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
