BILLINGS - It's a prime time CBS show that attracts millions of viewers each week and its most recent episode, featuring Billings-based Kampgounds of America Inc., was no exception.

In fact, KOA's Undercover Boss debut snatched the attention of more than 9 million households nationwide, winning its time slot by a long shot and tying the show's record as the most watched episode.

It's been less than a week since the show aired and KOA has already seen an increase in its reservation bookings by 20-percent compared to this time last year.

Plus, the company has been contacted by other campgrounds wanting to turn their existing property into a KOA campground.

"I think the best thing out of it, is that it exposed KOA and camping in general to so many people that would never ever see it otherwise," said VP of Communications for KOA Mike Gast. "There's nothing I can think of that we could affordably do to get the message out, of what our company does, in such a broad, broad way."

KOA has nearly 500 campgrounds throughout North America.

This year marks the company's 51st year in business.
